The cellar is adjoining a spacious tasting room overlooking the hills and the Po Valley where, on request, you can taste our products.
The winery is open on holidays definitely preferred to hike out of town.

To take part in The Drinks Buisness Global Pinot Noire Masters 2014 together with important winemakers really bigger than you, is really exciting and….. Bronze medal has been given to our pinot noire Vigna del Gur 2010.
Ready for a new adventure! Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September we’ll be glad to meet old friends and know new friends in our stall at Oltrevini (Casteggio, PV). We’ll hope a great number of you will come to taste our wines!

500 in Pietra April 13, 2014
The old car Fiat 500 for many people was a attainment and after a passion! So we had the idea to organize a old car 500 meeting in Oltrepò. We’ll do a tour to admire the wonderful landscape of hills, then we’ll drink an aperitif in Scuropasso’s cellar and well’have lunch in our farm. In the afternoon the pictures of 500 painted by the students of elementary school in Pietra de’ Giorgi will be awarded.

At the “Cantinone Medievale” in Pietra de’ Giorgi will be possible to taste 2013 vintages and old wines commercialized from 2014.
At 11.00 a.m. Mr. Mario Maffi, one of the most important Italian wine making expert, will speak us about about wine history in Oltrepò Pavese. In the afternoon at about 03 p.m. the painter Mr. Immovilli will exibite in life painting.
At lunch time you will have the opportunity to taste a risotto with the wines of our wines.
In addition to our wines, you can taste the products presented by two important realities of our country: the “Formaggeria Pavese” and the Chocolate artisan “Oltrecioc”.

“Cassoeula” or “cassoela” in Milan, “Rago”, “bottaggio” in neighboring provinces is a winter dish of the folk tradition. The recipe, as it is now prepared, was born in the early twentieth century, although there are variations oldest of uncertain origins.
The dish is related to the popular cult of St. Anthony the Abbot (January 17) in the period in which campaigns had completed the slaughter of pigs. For cassoela you used the cheaper cuts of the animal that gave flavor to the cabbage, winter vegetables also, very important in popular cuisine.
According to legend it is said that a Spanish soldier, in love with a young cook of a noble family, has taught the recipes cassoela and that the girl had then proposed to his employers with considerable success.
We have therefore decided to offer this traditional preparation for the winter shutdown.
